A Moment of Reflection: CICT’s Annual Pirith Ceremony 2026

On 20th and 21st March, CICT gathered to observe its Annual Pirith Chanting and Almsgiving Ceremony, upholding a meaningful tradition that embodies spiritual mindfulness and a shared sense of purpose rooted in tradition and unity.

As Pirith chanting carried through the night, it filled the surroundings with a sense of calm and quiet reflection, creating a unique atmosphere within the terminal. At dawn, the offering of alms to Buddhist monks marked a continuation of this spirit of gratitude and compassion.

Even as we power global trade and keep the world connected, moments like these remind us that beyond the movement of trade lies a deeper foundation of values grounding us in resilience, harmony, and a collective sense of direction as we move forward together.

CICT proudly marks the successful completion of the RTG Safety Protection System, reinforcing our strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. This advanced system integrates key features such as Stack Profiling, Chassis Lifting Protection, Truck Head Protection, and Gantry Anti-Collision enhancing both precision and protection in daily operations. As part of our continuous drive to adopt cutting-edge technology, this initiative strengthens safer, more efficient operations while delivering greater value and reliability to our customers.

Road to Victory - CICT’s Triumph at CASA Mini Cricket 2026

From Asia to Africa, Europe to the Americas, Chinese New Year wishes travelled across oceans as the global CM Port family celebrated the Year of the Horse.
Here in Sri Lanka, CICT hosted a colourful Spring Festival celebration filled with dumplings, spring couplets and festive cheer.
