My uncle but more like a fatherfigure, my buddy and my drinking partner Godwin Perera, left us for good. I was supposed to go to the hospital to see him with my aunty yesterday during lunch visiting hours, and I postponed it coz I had to attend to a business matter. By the time I finished my work, he passed away. The lesson this incident taught me was that one should never postpone our commitment towards your loved ones, otherwise you will regret it for the rest of your life. Rest easy Godwin maama. Now I have a reason to have an extra shot, for you as well.
