Our annual Poson Bana Sermon was held in July to mark the sacred Poson Poya, bringing our team together to reflect on the values of compassion, mindfulness, and generosity.

As the evening unfolded, some of our developers swapped their keyboards for aprons, preparing delicious Sini Sambal Buns, a beloved Sri Lankan favourite, to share with people along the roadside.

This act of Dāna (generosity) is a cherished part of Sri Lankan culture, especially during Poson, reflecting the spirit of giving, compassion, and sharing with others.

A heartfelt thank you to the CMS Welfare Team for organising this meaningful event, and to everyone who generously contributed and helped make it possible.

A few weeks ago, we held Teamscape 2026, our annual outbound training program, with a fresh theme that challenged our teams in new ways.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Bentota Beach, the program featured a variety of fun and demanding activities on both land and water. These challenges encouraged our team members to think creatively, step beyond their comfort zones, collaborate effectively, and develop the resilience and teamwork needed to solve complex challenges for our clients.

At CMS, we believe that great teams are built through shared experiences, continuous learning, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.

CMS started our Salesforce journey back in 2009 and have continued to grow and strengthen our expertise ever since. Recently, a few of our colleagues conducted a hands-on Salesforce workshop for Year 1, 2, and 3 students at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura

Students had the opportunity to build their first Salesforce application during the session, sparking curiosity about the ever-evolving Salesforce ecosystem. It was also a rewarding opportunity for our team to share knowledge, provide mentorship, and engage with the next generation of engineers entering the industry.

A big thank you to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura as well as Malaka Silva and Nermala Sarathchandra, for coordinating the event. We would also like to thank all our team members who contributed to making the workshop a success.
