Introducing our third judge for Cake Con 2020. Pedro León is a multiple time medalist & an award-winning cake artist from France. He ranked among the top ten Cake Artists in France. Born in Venezuela, lawyer by profession, nothing predestined Pedro León to become a Cake Designer ... except the strong artistic fiber he was endowed from a young age!
In 2012, he found a passion and a real gift for creative pastry. Self taught at the beginning and then mentored by the finest pastry, chocolate and cake design greatest names in the world, Pedro now is a reference in the sector and his brand Lion’s Cakes has thousands of followers around the world. He is known for his huge tier cakes populated with funny little characters.
Recently, he could be seen as a contestant in “Le Meilleur Pâtissier Professionnel” (French version of “Bake Off: The Professionals).
He is an Ambassador for “SARACINO”
His tutorial have been featured in Cake Masters magazine and his work was featured in the front cover in the cake masters magazine. He has won multiple awards in cake competitions around Europe;

Introducing our second judge of cake convention 2020



He is no stranger to Sri Lanka or Cake Convention. He was here last year as a judge as well and loved by everyone. Samie J Ramachandran is the Director of Sugarcraft at Whitecaps International School of pastry, Bengaluru, India. An internationally acclaimed multi award winning cake artist, finalist of Cake Masters-UK 2018. He is a specialist and well known for his extraordinary skill in sculpting cakes and making life size cakes. He has created cakes up to 10 X 24 feet for cake shows. He has featured in many news channels and appeared in national and international magazines. He imparts his passion to his students locally as well as internationally, teaching them to challenge creative frontiers in cake art.

Sébastien Haramendy

Sébastien Haramendy is an an award-winning cake artist & food blogger from France. He is ranked among the top ten Cake Artists in France. Recently, he could be seen as a contestant in the French version of “Bake Off: The Professionals” and in Le Meilleur Pâtissier Professionnel. He gave cooking advice on a French radio show called “A Glimpse into the Fridge” and guest speaker on “L’Œil dans Frigo”- Radio France Bleue Pays Basque.

His tutorials have been featured in magazine regularly and his work was featured in the front cover many a times in the cake masters magazine. He has won multiple awards in cake competitions around Europe;
