Lungis, sarongs, kevili, a little healthy competition, and plenty of laughter, that was Avurudu at John Keells IT this year.
On 20th April, the office stepped into celebration mode as the team marked the Sinhala & Tamil New Year in full colour.
From lighting the oil lamp and gathering around a potluck Avurudu table, to cheering each other on during the games and crowning the Avurudu Kumara & Kumariya, the day had all the right ingredients: good food, great company, and just enough competition to keep things interesting.
After the holiday break, it was a lovely way to return, reconnect, and celebrate the spirit of Avurudu together.
