Meet Lahiru — Manager Operations at Brandix, leading plant operations while also serving as a Technical Lead for BFL Operations.
Since joining Brandix in 2006 as a Production Executive, his journey has been shaped by resilience, ownership, and the ability to adapt through change.
From building technical expertise in washing and dyeing to leading diverse teams, Lahiru’s growth reflects his commitment to learning and leading from the front. Being named the top performer in the Management Development Program 2024/25 was a defining milestone that further strengthened his leadership perspective.
Grounded by family and guided by simplicity, Lahiru believes growth comes from taking ownership, acting with integrity, and learning through experience.
His advice to new joiners is simple:
Stand for what is right. Be honest, learn from mistakes, and come back stronger.

Currently serving as Assistant Manager – Design at Brandix, Uthpala brings together her background in ICT, apparel technology, and Digital Product Creation to help shape new possibilities in the industry.
As one of only two certified DPC experts in Sri Lanka, and one of the country’s first certified Browzwear trainers, her journey reflects the power of curiosity, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing across teams.
