Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Graphic Designer located in Kurunegala District. The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and producing graphics for a variety of media, including print and digital. The Junior Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop compelling visual solutions that meet business, brand, and marketing objectives.

Qualifications

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in graphic design
Strong conceptual and creative skills, with an ability to convey ideas through imagery
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus

Job Duties
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Design themes and plugins for WordPress
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
• Work with clients to understand their website requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs

Requirements
Familiarity with HTML/CCS/PHP/WordPress/Shopify
Candidates familiar with Photoshop/Illustrator will be given priority.
Ability to create clean, modern, testable, well-documented code
English fluency, verbal and written
Professional, empathic, team player
Problem solver, proactive, go getter
