Sri Lanka becomes the eighth team to reach the lofty heights of the HSBC A5N Top 5.
With the longest tradition of organised club rugby in Asia, dating back to 1879, (just eight years after the founding of the world’s first rugby union in England), the brave Elephants of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union have rampaged into the Top 5 and should not be underestimated. With thousands of spectators regularly attending club rugby matches in Sri Lanka, the team can be sure of passionate and noisy support as they test their strength in the top flight.
Notice on Match Photography Coverage!!
In light of the rising costs associated with match-day operations, Sri Lanka Rugby has carefully reviewed its current arrangements. As part of these adjustments, the allocation of official photographers for match coverage will be discontinued with immediate effect.
We kindly request clubs to make their own arrangements for photography and related media needs going forward.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and continued support as we work together to manage resources responsibly and strengthen the game.

🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: All Week 4 Matches POSTPONED! 🚨
Due to the prevailing situation in Sri Lanka caused by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah and its aftermath, the Sri Lanka Rugby Executive Committee has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone all Week 04 matches of the Maliban "A" Division Rugby League.
This decision prioritizes the safety of our players and the public well-being. 🙏
📅 Revised Match Schedule:
Week 04 Matches: Will be rescheduled to one week prior to the Super Round.
Week 03 Matches: Will now be played during the 26th, 27th, and 28th Week, which were originally set aside for the Christmas holidays. 🎄
We sincerely appreciate the understanding and support of all fans, players, clubs, and officials during this challenging period.

Sri Lions SC vs. Navy SC ( 6th Dec, London Place)
The rescheduled matches will be played one week prior to the Super Round.
