CAPS Campus

CAPS Campus recently hosted an electrifying two-day CPD program on solar PV system design and maintenance. With over fifty industry professionals in attendance, the event was a glowing success held at the Science Tower in Colombo-07.
Program was led by renowned Prof. Asanka Rodrigo, a distinguished electrical engineering professor and former Director General of the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority. Participants gained cutting-edge knowledge on modern solar PV technologies. They learned best practices for safe installation, proper earthing techniques, and protection against atmospheric discharges. The program also delved into manual design, calculation of commercial-scale grid-tied solar systems, and featured an exciting PVSyst software demonstration for system simulation. Attendees gained hands-on experience in designing, installation and commissioning solar PV systems.
CAPS Campus continues to empower industry professionals in the renewable energy sector, making waves in sustainable practices.
