The Luxury Plant Enthusiasts 🌿🌱🪴
A place where Plants meet Design and Luxury ✨️

A seamless blend of quiet luxury and thoughtful greenery. Designed with low-maintenance, high-impact plants, this space balances modern tropical aesthetics with everyday ease. Lemon balm was introduced across key areas to naturally deter mosquitoes, while clusters of Heliconias and Elephant Ears soften the architecture with refined colour accented with subtle pops of colour through curated outdoor cushions. In the courtyard Mandir, two large Clusia plants frame the sacred space with calm and minimal disturbance. Finished with our signature Compound Fibre Planters, white pebbles, and refreshed vegetable garden pots — every detail is intentional.

Crafted slowly, intentionally, and entirely by hand, this piece is where artistry meets nature ✨

At The Balcony Project, we believe that a planter is never just a vessel. It is the foundation of a story. This rustic form, shaped with care, texture, and quiet detail, was created to feel lived in, grounded, and timeless

Paired with the elegant Football Palm, its soft cascading leaves bring movement and grace, creating a sculptural moment that feels both organic and refined

Every curve, every imperfection, every finish is thoughtfully designed to elevate not just the plant, but the space it lives in

Because true luxury is never loud. It is felt 🌿

Styling plants is not just about adding greenery, it is about creating a feeling, a space that speaks, and an experience that lingers 🌿

✨Indoor
Transform an empty corner into a calm, intentional retreat. A single well chosen plant can completely shift the energy of a room. Opt for a large, sculptural plant that makes you feel cocooned, almost like you are sitting within your own little rainforest. Layer softly with smaller plants to add depth without overwhelming the space.

✨Outdoor
Think beyond plants as greenery. Style them as design elements. Layer different textures, heights and forms to create a rich, elevated look. Combine structured plants with softer, flowing varieties. Incorporate native plants alongside statement pieces like braided trunks or architectural foliage. Finish with planters of varying textures and tones to add character and depth to the space.

✨The Shelf
Style your plants like objects, not extras. Each plant should feel intentional, as though it belongs exactly where it is placed. Let them enhance the composition of your shelf without disrupting its function. The goal is harmony where greenery elevates the space while still allowing the shelf to remain practical and usable.

✨Balcony
Even the smallest balcony can become your personal escape. In the midst of concrete surroundings, your balcony can transform into a soft, green sanctuary. Layer thoughtfully, add a mix of heights and textures, and create a space where you can pause, breathe and reconnect.

Book a Plant Consultation or a Design Project Service with us to elevate your indoor and outdoor spaces with low maintenance, high quality greenery, thoughtfully designed to bring a sense of calm, beauty and quiet luxury into your everyday living.

A collaboration rooted in sustainability and purposeful design. Working with Hutchison Telecommunications Sri Lanka, we were proud to contribute to their growing vision of creating greener, more conscious spaces across their network.

At their main branch in Bambalapitiya, we introduced elegant, low-maintenance greenery that instantly softens and brightens the interiors, bringing a sense of calm and balance to a fast-paced environment. Each plant was thoughtfully selected to align with both aesthetics and ease of care.
Extending this vision outward, we also designed the façades for their Fort and Negombo outlets with climbing Thunbergia creepers, set to gradually cover the pillars and transform the exterior into a living, breathing green statement.

A simple yet impactful step towards a more sustainable future ✨
