Nephila pilipes (northern golden orb weaver or giant golden orb weaver[2]) is a species of golden orb-web spider. It resides all over countries in East and Southeast Asia as well as Oceania. It is commonly found in primary and secondary forests and gardens.

The collared kingfisher is a medium-sized kingfisher belonging to the subfamily Halcyoninae, the tree kingfishers. It is also known as the white-collared kingfisher, black-masked kingfisher or mangrove kingfisher. It has a wide range extending from the Red Sea across southern Asia to Polynesia.

The African pied hornbill is a medium-sized bird, with males typically measuring around 50 centimetres (20 inches) in length and females slightly smaller. It has a distinctive appearance with a black body, white belly, and a large white patch on its wings. The bird's head is adorned with a large downward-curved black bill, which has a casque (a protrusion) on top. The eyes are surrounded by a patch of bare, blue skin.
