Asitha Fernando has leaped nine spots to claim 8th place in the ICC Test Rankings for bowlers, marking a remarkable rise in his career.

The Sri Lanka Junior team, consisting of 12 athletes, will depart for Lima, Peru, tonight to participate in the World Junior Athletics Championship 2024.

The team will travel in three batches.

New Zealand Tour of Sri Lanka 2024
The New Zealand Men’s National Team will tour Sri Lanka during September 2024 to play a two-match test series against the Sri Lanka Men’s National Team.
The Test matches are a part of the ICC World Test Championship Cycle of 2023 - 2025.

*21st September will be a rest day of the 1st Test Match owing to the Presidential Election of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
