As from 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭, Air France will start operating flights to 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 (𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮),a brand-new destination for the airline, with three weekly frequencies as a continuation of the flight to Malé (Maldives).

The flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9.

Air France is continuing to adapt its network and increase services to "𝗹𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲" 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. For the 2021 winter season (October 2021- March 2022), the airline will be offering its customers new services to sunny destinations around the world, on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Following a remarkable journey from soldier to sporting glory, the Army veteran, flag bearer, and captain of the nine-member Sri Lankan contingent for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 🥂, Herath adds this latest Gold to a string of remarkable successes 🏆 and firsts for his country, including winning a Bronze Medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and the 2017 World Para Athletics Championship London, a Gold Medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games Jakarta, and a Silver Medalist at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championship Dubai.

The UK travel and tourism sector has united outside of Parliament in Westminster to raise awareness of the challenges the industry is facing today! The Travel Day of Action calling on the UK Government to meaningfully implement the Global Travel Taskforce’s plan to safely reopen the skies.

The catastrophic impact of Covid-19 has put more than 500,000 jobs in the UK and 1/10 globally at risk with international travel remain heavily restricted. World-leading vaccination programmes have created the opportunity to safely open up travel and the industry and consumers need certainty and assurance in the absence of a definitive timeline.

We Sandal Trails support today’s Day of Action and urge UK Government to allow international travel to return safely and in a risk-managed way. UK Government must act immediately to safely reopen the skies to stabilise the Travel Industry once again.
