Glad to be part of this wonderful initiative with Vision Care, a trusted name serving Sri Lanka for over 34 years. What began in 1992 as a vision care provider has grown into a leader in both vision and hearing care, helping people experience life with greater clarity and confidence.

It’s a new frontier for modern hearing aids. Advanced, discreet, and designed to amplify speech, reduce background noise, and support the brain in processing sound more efficiently. Improving communication, supporting cognitive health, strengthening relationships, and helping create a more inclusive and empowered future.

I was so glad to be part of this initiative on World Hearing Day in collaboration with Vision Care and Hearing Solutions. Together, we donated 40 state of the art hearing aids to beautiful and deserving students who face financial barriers to accessing hearing aids, so they can step into society with confidence and without being ostracized for their disability.

This represents a new frontier for hearing aid users who want to experience advanced technology with confidence and ease. We are constantly embracing technological advancements to improve our lives and help us live more confident and independent lives.

When our vision is impaired, we wear glasses or contact lenses to improve it. When our teeth are crooked or misaligned, we get braces to correct them. So why are we hesitant to wear hearing aids when we struggle to hear?

Think of modern hearing aids like wireless earphones or AirPods. that’s how advanced they have become. They are discreet, fashionable, and Bluetooth enabled. How amazing is that? 😍🙌🏽

No more stigma 🙌🏽 just a more inclusive world where we accept each other for our individuality and uniqueness.

I am deeply saddened to learn that you are no longer with us, Maxi Rozairo. You were once known as the Sri Lankan Michael Bolton, having won many awards for your extraordinary vocal performances and commanding stage presence. You gave so much to the industry from the 1960s onward, never expecting anything in return, driven purely by your passion, your desire to give back, and the legacy you aspired to build.

I had the immense honour and privilege of working with you from my late teens onward, touring on numerous overseas concerts, jazz and soul events where we shared the stage, as well as many charity events and musical concerts, corporate award shows, dinner dances, vocal recordings, and even sharing the jury panel when you joined as a guest judge about a decade ago on YES Superstar Season 2. I am truly grateful for all that you did for me and for the Sri Lankan music industry. I am richer for having known you as both an incredible musician and a remarkable human being. As an entertainer, you were the epitome of a true class act. You will always be a legend to some of us musicians who knew you. 🥺💛

May you rest in eternal love and peace, knowing you gave your very best. You were always loved, Max. 💐🙏🏽🤍
