A Journey Beyond Words 🇱🇰

As our chapter with the National Youth Parliament cherishes beautiful memories, it’s hard to describe the emotion that fills our hearts. This wasn’t just a professional entity - it was a journey of unity, passion, and purpose.

We came from different corners of the country - diverse in our backgrounds, languages, faiths, and dreams. But here, those differences didn’t divide us - they strengthened us. We stood shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, not as strangers or competitors, but as brothers and sisters united by a shared vision for our nation.

In the debates, in the laughter, in the sleepless nights planning for tomorrow, we found family. We built bridges that go beyond religion, caste, or region - because we believed in something greater: the power of youth to shape a better Sri Lanka.

To all the incredible friends, mentors, and colleagues I had the honor of sharing this path with - I miss you already.

This may be the route, but it's only the beginning of a lifelong journey of service, leadership, and unity.

Sri Lanka - A Country Like No Other 🇱🇰

As a Member of the National Youth Parliament, I stood at the prestigious Presidential Secretariat and raised my voice for the voiceless - the innocent lives in Palestine, enduring decades of suffering, displacement, and unimaginable loss.

Today, as the cries of Gaza continue to echo through the silence of a watching world, I renew that same call - louder, firmer, and more resolute than ever before. This is not just about borders. It is about humanity, dignity, and the inalienable right of every child to live without fear.

The blood of the innocent should never be a footnote in global diplomacy. The pain of mothers burying their children should not be met with indifference. When I spoke then, I spoke not just as a parliamentarian, but as a human being deeply moved by the plight of the oppressed.

Let us not allow our silence to become complicity. Let our voices rise higher. Let our prayers be followed by action, our compassion be translated into advocacy.

This is a call to conscience. A plea for peace. A stand for Palestine.
