What this 11 year old very demanding customer asked for and what I delivered. I think I did justice to the sketch. It was such an easy process cz she knew what exactly she wanted. Named each element, mentioned the cake flavours, so there's was no confusions, no stress.
Ribbon cake inside with fondant deco on the outside.

Making edible flowers has been my thing since if late πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… You guys are pushing me too much! I was quite happy with fresh ones πŸ˜“ But I can't lie I quite enjoy making these too.

The biggest/longest/heaviest cake Ive ever done.
I had plans to record the whole process of how I assembled the cake, transported, decorated and all that. But life had other plans. More like my phone had other plans. It decided to corrupt few of the large videos I had in the gallery and couldn't edit those in any way. So this is all I could post. 😭 Anyhoo like I said its THE biggest cake I've made. Customer was super specific about the specs of the cake. So there's some dummy layer involved as well. Excuse the colors of the cake cz the min I started clicking photos, the band decided to switch on this horrendous green spot lights. 🌚 So the ones with the beautiful back drop has a green light. And the other side where the cake looks white, has a horrible backdrop. 😭😭
Little back story -
It was one crazy day because I had a tv shoot happening as well. One of those days where two gigs overlap and it was too late for me to say no to either 🀣 So I finished all costumes during day time the previous day, finished assembling the cakes thru the night. I got picked up at 4Am for the shoot, went on set, got the costumes ready (put my shoot assistant in charge) came back home, woke up my husband 😬, me n my SS assistant got everything to Cinnamon life (its a morning function so everything had to be set up by 7.30am), the good-for-nothing, useless staff at the entrance absolutely refused to help us with a trolly or any way to carry everything up to the 20 something floor, and we had to do a few trips. We set it up, finished all deco and I went running back to the set. Thank god the location was in Colombo or I would have been in a little trouble. 😬😬 Thats about my funnnn filled day. Lol. I'm thankful that I didnt die of anxiety and high BP. πŸ€£πŸ˜…
