Spitfire, an Intamin triple-launch coaster, stands 73 meters tall, catapults riders to speeds up to 127 km/h and rolls them upside down through a world record-braking inverted Top Hat.

Using a swing launch, a vertical spike, and Intamin's Fast Switch technology, Spitfire packs 900 meters of ride experience onto just 582 meters of physical track. Weightlessness at the spike, packed with airtime over the humps, and breathtaking views across the stunning landscapes. - Themed after the iconic British aircraft, Spitfire delivers an unforgettable… flight. 🔥

We’re proud to celebrate the opening of Aviktas at Pleasure Beach Resort now the UK’s tallest Gyro Swing! 🤩

Opened on 21 May 2026, Aviktas marks an exciting addition to the park’s 130th season and showcases how a powerful new attraction can be introduced even in a compact, heritage-rich environment.
Installed on the former Bowl-a-Drome site, this Intamin Gyro Swing was selected for its compact footprint combined with strong visual presence and most importantly its unique and unmatched ride experience, seamlessly integrating into a park with over a century of layered attractions.

- Dual friction wheel launches achieve speeds of 72km/h (45 mph) without requiring high lift structures.
- After the second launch, experience a 180° high-speed turnaround reaching the ride’s peak height of 18 meters (59 feet) with a column free design above the station
- Low-to-the-ground, unpredictable twists and turns for varied and high speed sensations.

The ride is a masterpiece of engineering designed to break records in the family coaster segment. The new rollercoaster will boast an impressive 1.4 km of track and includes a signature indoor immersive effect, which will hold a few surprises for you.

🪐 Zero gravity: The layout will feature 18 airtime moments, delivering that floaty, weightlessness sensation.

🙌 Signature indoor element: Mid-ride, guests enter a fully enclosed animated scene that immerses you in a dynamic, surprising, one-of-a-kind effect where the rules of “up” and “down” are scrambled!

🚀 Dynamic Fast Switch: The first Intamin Fast Switch in Latin America provides an innovative and surprising ride experience while maintaining capacity on a high level.

🎢 Dual-level seating: For the first time on the continent, guests will be seated side-by-side on two distinct elevation levels.

🔄 High capacity: The attraction will feature a dual-loading station and five trains operating simultaneously.

💫 An interactive experience: The rollercoaster will be interlaced with a second high-end attraction in the area, creating dynamic visuals and kinetic interaction that make the area feel alive.

📆 The ride is part of the SpongeBob-themed area and is scheduled to open in 2028.

After just one month since opening to the public, Falcons Flight at Six Flags Qiddiya City has soared straight to the top of Captain Coaster’s global ranking - where riders and coaster enthusiasts from around the world contribute with their votes, ratings, and reviews. Captain Coaster ranks among the most popular roller coaster rating systems, with 20,000 users and over 600,000 ratings.

This achievement is especially meaningful because Falcons Flight is not only breaking all three records but has already become a fan‑favorite ride experience, praised for the uniqueness of the experience that many describe as “once‑in‑a‑life”. Indeed, maintaining high speed and the impressive drop from the cliff leading directly to a 250 km/h launch are highlighted as the unique elements that set Falcons Flight apart.

The first of the two new buildings at Intamin’s headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein, is about to reach its highest point! 🏗️

Standing at a total height of 11.65 meters with three floors, this building is designed as a modern, collaborative office space with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. 🏔️

Constructed almost entirely from wood and built in collaboration with one of our trusted local partners - the same team behind the wood constructions of several of our iconic wooden coasters - the structure uses locally sourced timber within 50 km vicinity of our partner’s Swiss manufacturing facilities to combine sustainability with craftsmanship. 🪵

👉 Vertical construction for the second building is already underway. It will feature additional workspaces along with the new main entrance and a cafeteria, creating an even more welcoming and functional environment for visitors and our staff.
