A huge thank you to the Government of Saint Lucia and Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre for officially opening the new Gros Islet Police Divisional Headquarters! After years of our hardworking officers being displaced—moving from the mold-infested original station in 2013 to the Saint Lucia Boy Scouts Association building and most recently sharing space at Rodney Bay—it is a relief to finally see a permanent, state-of-the-art home for law enforcement in the North. This $35.9 million "bunker-style" facility isn’t just a building; it’s a commitment to our safety and a much-needed upgrade from the substandard conditions they’ve endured for over a decade. Cheers to a safer Gros Islet! 🇱🇨🚔
