🇹🇹☀️According to Hon. Roger Alexander, Minister of Homeland Security, the decision to declare and continue the State of Emergency (SoE) was based on intelligence, assessments, and recommendations from several security and intelligence agencies involved in Trinidad and Tobago's crime-fighting efforts.
These included:
* The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS)
* The Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF)
* The National Operations Centre
* Local intelligence agencies
* Foreign intelligence agencies working with Trinidad and Tobago authorities.
During the parliamentary debate on extending the SoE, Alexander stated that intelligence from these agencies indicated that extraordinary measures were necessary to combat gang activity, illegal fi****ms, murders, and other serious crimes. 🟡🇹🇹☀️

It was a pleasure to meet with Evangelist Anton Strachan, owner of Power of Worship Radio, and the main person responsible for getting the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to Grenada.

🇹🇹☀️Trinidad and Tobago's Minister of National Security, the Hon. Roger Alexander , provided a summary of the achievements made since the UNC - United National Congress administration assumed office under the leadership of Prime Minister Hon. Kamla Persad Bissessar.
Minister Alexander highlighted the government's efforts to combat crime, including the implementation and enforcement of the State of Emergency.
He outlined measures taken by law enforcement agencies, the successes achieved in reducing criminal activity and the administration's broader strategy to restore public safety and national security.
The update sought to demonstrate the government's commitment to tackling crime and ensuring that citizens feel safer in their communities through decisive action and strengthened security operations. 🟡🇹🇹☀️
