The unexpected passing of Mr. Glenson Lawrence, former Music Teacher at the Anse La Raye Infant and Primary Schools, has come as a shock to us all.

Mr. Lawrence was truly a character, and his presence will be greatly missed. Throughout District 4, he will be remembered for his passion for music and his captivating personality.

Sincere condolences are extended to his family, friends, community, former colleagues and students at the Anse La Raye Infant and Primary Schools, and all who mourn his passing.

Anse La Raye RC Infant School Celebrates Excellence at Term One Merit Ceremony

Anse La Raye RC Infant School proudly hosted its Merit Ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate students who excelled during the first term’s marking period. The ceremony recognized pupils who attained an outstanding average of 85% and above, reflecting their commitment to learning, consistency, and hard work.

During the ceremony, Merit Badges and Honour Roll Badges were proudly presented to deserving students, serving as a visible symbol of academic excellence and perseverance. These awards help celebrate achievement and also motivate our students to continue striving for their best in all areas of school life.

In addition to academic performance, the school also took the opportunity to recognize students who consistently display excellent discipline. These students were acknowledged for their respectful behaviour, positive attitudes, and adherence to school values—qualities that are essential to personal growth and a healthy school environment.

Our school remains committed to nurturing well-rounded learners by valuing both academic success and character development. Anse La Raye RC Infant School congratulates all awardees and encourages every student to continue working diligently toward excellence.

A Special Visit To Anse la Raye RC Infant School
We were happy to welcome the newly appointed Minister of Education, Youth Development, Sports and Digital Transformation, Hon. Kenson Casimir, to Anse La Raye RC Infant School yesterday, Tuesday 7th January 2026.

The Minister, accompanied by the Chief Education Officer, District Education Officer, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Education, took time to greet our students and teachers and share in the everyday life of our school.

Moments like these remind us of the importance of partnership, presence, and continued support for early childhood education. We truly appreciate the visit and the encouragement shown to our school community.
