Tragically, a fire broke out in a Syrian refugee camp in Lebanon, leaving behind devastating losses for the families residing there. Our team immediately mobilized for an urgent response, visiting the site and standing with those affected during this difficult time.

We provided emergency humanitarian aid, distributing hygiene kits and ready-to-eat meals to meet basic needs. We also accompanied mothers to a shop to buy new clothes for their children, especially with Eid just two days away, hoping to bring a smile to their faces despite their pain.

However, the scene remains heartbreaking, as these families lost everything they owned, leaving behind memories and needs that will be difficult to replace.

It was wonderful to attend The Funding Network’s Spring Connector this week and present our organisation and its emergency shelter project! We are so grateful to have raised £12,350!

The Funding Network is an amazing charity that supports grassroots organisations such as us to donors - we are so appreciative of all of their hard work and support.

How has the ceasefire affected our operations? ‼️ April 2026

The number of Lebanese families has decreased, with many having returned to their homes.

The number of Syrian families we meet has not changed, with many saying they are still afraid to return and are waiting for the ceasefire to hold.

We are still running our emergency kitchen in Lebanon in support of our shelters!
