Community Recycle by HEAD

It was not sure that we would have been able to organize the Cleaning Campaign this Year, due to the Covid-19 emergency. But we did it!!
Human Environmental Association for Development (HEAD)in Lebanon organized a wide cleaning campaign that covered the North beach in Klayaat North Lebanon, where waste is constantly accumulating, especially plastic ones, as part of its annual plan to protect marine life under the slogan "The better environment begins with you."
Thirty scouts and guides from the Association's maritime port regiment carried out the campaign. The scouts spread along the beach and worked on picking up, collecting, and sorting the waste and then transporting it to work on recycling it.
Always with the collaboration of the Environmental Scouts Association, The guide Mourad Abouchi said"The aim of the campaign is, first, to protect marine life, since most of the waste, especially plastic, is transported by sea currents to the beaches and primarily hinders the reproduction of endangered sea turtles in addition to the direct harm they cause."
