My heart is breaking as Lebanon faces intense bombing, and it’s so painful watching from afar here in Australia. As an Australian who once lived in Lebanon and worked as a tour leader, guiding people through its beautiful landscapes, it hurts deeply to see the destruction. Lebanon deserves peace, yet its land and people suffer under these attacks. It’s time for more voices to speak up against this injustice—more needs to be done to bring an end to the suffering.

The Phoenician alphabet is indeed considered one of the first alphabets and has its origins int he region of modern day Lebanon. It’s fascinating to learn about the rich history and contributions of ancient civilisations to language and writing systems. Lebanon’s Heritage is truly remarkable

Lebanese sweets is a must try when your in Lebanon. Al Baba sweets is my favorite store. It’s a family business that started in 1950 and is still thriving today with 5 branches across the Middle East.
Saida, Lebanon is home to 2 Al Baba sweet branches. If you visiting Saida be sure to get your sugar fix by visiting this store.

They do travel packs so you are able to take the sweets home with you!
