Single-arm row is a back exercise that mainly targets the latissimus dorsi, with help from the rhomboids, traps, and biceps.
How to do it (dumbbell):
1. Place one hand and the same-side knee on a bench.
2. Keep your back neutral and brace your core.
3. Hold the dumbbell with the opposite hand, arm hanging down.
4. Pull the dumbbell toward your hip, keeping your elbow close to your body.
5. Pause briefly at the top, then lower it slowly.
6. Complete your reps, then switch sides.
Key cue: Think βelbow to hipβ, rather than pulling the weight toward your shoulder.
Aim for 3β4 sets of 8β12 reps per side.
