On the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a Pontifical Mass was held on the evening of Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church in Zalka. The service was presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI, Catholicos-Patriarch of the House of Cilicia for Armenian Catholics, with the participation of a large gathering of religious, governmental, political, military, social, and youth figures.
