Emily Nasrallah a Lebanese writer who published a number of children's stories and collections. Received several prizes; Said Akl Award, the Gibran Khalil Gibran Award, The Arab Heritage Association in Australia, IBBY and many others.
Her first novel was published in 1962 (September Birds) and won three literary awards. Many of her novels have been translated into English and French.
