نظمت IndyACT حلقة نقاش حول "الوصول إلى ١٠٠٪؜ طاقة متجددة " في إطار رؤية لبنان للتعافي الاقتصادي الاخضر الموضوعة من قبل IndyACT .
وضمت خبراء حكوميين وجمعيات ومن الامم المتحدة والقطاع الخاص إضافةً إلى اكاديميين.
اربعة عناوين وضعها المجتمعون للوصول إلى الهدف بحلول العام ٢٠٥٠:
- اصلاحات سياسية وإدارية

IndyACT organized a group discussion on “Achieving 100% Renewable Energy” within the framework of Lebanon's green economic recovery vision developed by IndyACT.
It included governmental experts, associations, representatives from the United Nations and from the private sector, academics
Four key points are essential’s to reach the goal by 2050
Political and administrative reforms
Creating markets to finance renewable energy
Developing the electrical network
Encouraging decentralized initiatives for electricity production

لليوم الثاني على التوالي ، حلقة نقاش نظمتها IndyACT حول "الزراعة في لبنان رؤية العام 2050" والتي تدخل في إطار رؤية لبنان للتعافي الاقتصادي الاخضر الموضوعة من قبل IndyACT .

The second day of the group discussion organized by IndyACT , was focusing on “Agriculture of Lebanon : A vision for 2050” within the framework of Lebanon’s green economic recovery vision developed by IndyACT.
It included governmental experts , associations representatives from the UN and from the private sector , academics and environmental experts who all participated in the discussions.
And six specific objectives are
necessary to achieve the vision

Young skilled entrepreneurs and farmers are leading the sector
Agriculture arable land is preserved from fragmentation and change of use
Water efficient harvesting and use through innovative techniques are secured
Performant and climate smart plant and animal genetic material is valorized
Sustainable agriculture production systems are adopted
Profitable markets are secured

, Zero Waste / Circular Economy is designing waste out of the material flow process in human economy, through:
➡️Setting a Zero Waste goal by a certain date.
➡️Holding Producers accountable for the waste generated by their products.
➡️Encouraging responsible consumption habits.
➡️ Build Zero Waste infrastructure, processes, and logistics.

Products design, how they flow in human economy, and who bares responsibility for their waste is where the solution to waste lies.

IndyACT President presenting the "100% Lebanon Vision" paper at the National Climate Change Dialogue organized by Lebanon Eco Movement الحركة البيئية اللبنانية]. Plastic pollution has become one of the world’s most pressing issues. In March 2022 at the 5th United Nations Environment Assembly, 173 countries agreed to begin negotiations towards a legally binding treaty on plastics. This historic decision marks an attempt to secure the biggest and most important climate treaty since the 2015 Paris Agreement.

100% Lebanon vision is an economic recovery vision based on the Green Economy concept. Developed by and aiming at generating a discussion among the various Lebanese stakeholders to generate a unified plan out of the current crisis.
