March dreams of an open-minded, peaceful and tolerant Lebanese society, with diversity and equality in rights among all its citizens

Established in February 2011, MARCH is a civil movement, actively seeking to safe keep the tenets of a peaceful and prosperous Lebanon. MARCH believes that this can only happen in a strong, democratic and integrally sovereign nation, where rule of law is imposed, the constitution exercised, and human rights respected. One necessary condition towards that end, and a primary objective of March is to

1,114 solar lamps installed and we’re not finished yet. 💡

Progress continues across the streets and alleys of Malloule, Jabal Mohsen, and Bab Al-Tebbaneh.

In the schools of Beb El Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 joined a dental awareness session learning how to care for their oral health and build lifelong habits with Dr. Elise Eid.
The Youth of March were there too, standing side by side, helping, supporting, and showing what it looks like when youth choose to show up for their community.
Each child received a dental kit, along with access to free check-ups at our center.
This project was implemented in coordination with the Lebanese Dental Association and the Ministry of Education.

Sustainable peace isn’t built through one-time workshops or symbolic meetings. 💪
It’s built through long-term programs, shared spaces, and youth leading real change in their communities.

At MARCH, we invest in continuous youth engagement across diverse communities because lasting peace needs consistency, trust, and people who keep showing up for each other. 🤍

Although Hona Beirut hub is currently closed due to the current situation, the youth in it never stopped showing up for each other. 🤍

Because community was never just a place.
It was always the people, the care, the check-ins, the messages, and the way we stand beside each other no matter where we come from.

In difficult times, we realized even more that what unites us is bigger than anything trying to divide us.

Everyone talks about Lebanon’s collapse.
Few talk about the people rebuilding it every single day.

From youth choosing dialogue over division, to communities respecting their differences instead of fearing them, another Lebanon is rising. 🤍

In a country that has seen this much pain, hope is an act of courage.
And it’s still alive here. In people. In conversations. In every step toward one another.
