Altelevision is an alternative TV channel that broadcast from the heart of the city of Beirut. The channel is exclusively available through live online streaming and is not affiliated with any other media channels. Altelevision represents a new approach to TV stations in the middle east, far from being like the politicized and monetized media platform, it is here to provide a platform for youth and other marginalized groups that are often treated lightly by the mainstream media. Using top notch technology, Altelevision is the first online TV channel in the middle east to broadcast live talk shows and programs that are youth oriented and civil society supporting. The channel is available through its website www.altelevision.com or from the LIVE tab on this page. A mobile application that allows live streaming will be made available soon as well.
