📍 Nabatiyeh, southern 🇱🇧
One city among many.
This 60-second video captures only a fraction of the scale of massive destruction across southern Lebanon.
Yet despite the devastation and uncertainty, displaced families continue to hold on to one hope: returning home.
Cars packed with belongings are heading back to southern 🇱🇧.
For many displaced families, the hope of going home is powerful. But these are cautious returns, as local authorities continue to assess the security situation and many areas are not yet declared safe.
تتجه السيارات المحمّلة بالأمتعة عائدةً إلى جنوب 🇱🇧.
ورغم تمسّك العديد من العائلات النازحة بالأمل في العودة إلى ديارها، لا تزال هذه العودة تتّسم بالحذر، في ظل تحذير السلطات المحلية من العودة الكاملة إذ يستمر تقييم الوضع في مناطق عديدة غير آمنة للعودة إليها بعد.

At the first glimpse of hope, some families began returning to southern 🇱🇧.
But Israeli strikes continue. Cautiousness and uncertainty remain.
The pull of home is strong. So is the fear of being displaced once again.
مع أول بصيص أمل، بدأت بعض العائلات بالعودة إلى جنوب 🇱🇧.
لكن الغارات الإسرائيلية لا تزال مستمرة، فيما لا يزال الحذر وعدم اليقين يخيّمان على مشهد هذه العودة الخجولة.
فالحنين إلى الديار كبير، كما هو الخوف من الاضطرار إلى النزوح مرة أخرى.
100 days since the escalation of the conflict, around 1 million people across 🇱🇧 remain displaced.
Many have fled more than once. Home, livelihoods and a sense of normalcy are still out of reach.
Needs are rising. The response must be sustained.

اليوم، هو اليوم الـ100 منذ بدء النزاع في 🇱🇧.
100 يوم من الضربات الإسرائيلية وإنذارات الإخلاء.
100 يوم من النزوح.
100 يوم من الفقدان وعدم الشعور بالأمان.
A school in Zefta, southern 🇱🇧, became a shelter. Now it stands empty.
Families sought safety there after fleeing their homes.
A nearby Israeli airstrike damaged the site, injured several people, and forced them to flee yet again.
For many families in 🇱🇧, displacement has become a cycle with no end in sight.
