In Diriyah, architecture returns to its origins.
draws from the “City of Earth”: Low-lying forms, sun-dried textures, and a palette shaped by desert light. A contemporary revival rooted in Najdi tradition.
As part of The Luxury Collection, the property is defined by its context, and our pieces follow that same approach - designed as part of Diriyah’s narrative, not apart from it.
For this project, BAAL designed and developed a bespoke collection of guestroom and public area pieces, shaped by the same textures, quiet geometry, and earthy tones that define the space, without competing with it.

A staple of the guestroom, where top-grain leather holds the first moments of settling in.

For Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, the tea station is shaped through detail — a signature burnt orange developed for the project, traced along edges in fine piping, defining the tissue box and leather-lined trays with quiet distinction.
In this quiet interplay of material and detail, service becomes an extension of design.

Modular by nature.
Inspired by the logic of a puzzle, these forms interlock through proportion and restraint - walnut wood and soft leather arranged as coin trays, jewelry trays, or composed freely in different ways.
Designed and produced for the InterContinental The Red Sea resort.

A building that held the financial reserves of a nation for over a century now holds something quieter.
A 1914 palazzo on Piazza del Parlamento, once a stronghold of the Bank of Italy, reopens as Corinthia Rome - returned, at last, to beauty, time, and human connection.
BAAL was tasked to design and develop the guestroom and in-room accessory collection for this opening. The palette was drawn directly from the building: The warm ivory of its restored stucco, the sienna of its carved woodwork, the deep teal of its interior garden - translated into two-tone leather stitched at every edge, and lacquered wood lined in midnight suede.
The palazzo asks nothing except honesty. The materials, the finish, the hand behind each piece all of it had to be true.
A project that reaffirms what boutique hospitality, at its most considered, demands of every object in the room.

Antique brass, darkened and fluted, holds the salts of the ritual.
Below it - Black Portoro marble, its gold veining tracing the same warm register as the metal above.
Found in the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai.

Craft is not rushed.
It is measured in hours, in repetition, in the quiet focus of making.
It unfolds through repetition, precision, and the quiet devotion of skilled hands.
It carries the patience of the hands that shape it.

Every detail finds its place.
Walnut wood lids. Curved leather covers, wrapped like a tailored jacket. Accent stitching tracing the form with intention.
Quietly made. Widely appreciated.

Created for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, this poolside sign carries a necessary message through the hotel’s design language — dark timber, warm metal, and clean nautical restraint.
Guided by the hotel’s superyacht-inspired architecture and contemporary restraint, it elevates a functional necessity into something precise, composed, and quietly enduring.

Created for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, this poolside cooler bag draws from the hotel’s superyacht silhouette — sleek lines, softened structure, and a sense of motion held in stillness.
Designed within a new wave of luxury, it favors refined simplicity over spectacle, bringing the sea into the details through calm proportion, quiet finishes, and considered function.
