We are really impressed of the new AMAZING! features added to the windows phone 8 updates:
•Double-tap to unlock: Double tapping the screen is an alternative to using the unlock key
•Nokia Glance Screen: Brings a clock to your screen when the phone is inactive, you can choose option to show the clock only when you hover your hand over the phone.
•Flip to silence: Flipping the phone over mutes an incoming call.

FINALLYY!! Windows Phone 8.0.10328.78 on Lumia 920 with amazing features and NEW NOKIA SMART CAM "NO MORE BLURYY IMAGES"
the update is not available in Lebanon, but we used the Russian sim card to make the update

Quick Tip: If you want to save a setting for your app try using IsolatedStorageSettings the example goes like this for easier use:
private IsolatedStorageSettings appSettings = IsolatedStorageSettings.ApplicationSettings;
and then you can call it with: appSettings[" "]; example:
appSettings["Your_Chosen_Name"] = "A_String_Or_A_Bool_Or_Whatever";
and don't forget to always save it or else it wont save the setting
appSettings.Save();
and when you need it for checking or if condition or anything you can do this:
if ((string)appSettings["The_Name_That_You_Set"] == "1"){}

Congratulations to Team Lets Volunteer from BAU for winning World Citizenship at Imagine Cup Lebanon 2013

BAU making Big Success;

Imagine Cup start up competition was held at Microsoft Lebanon on Monday 15 April; with 3 different categories Games, Innovation, and World Citizenship.
We started off with round 1, where around 30 teams presented in front a panel of 3 judges, around 6 teams were from BAU. Many great and exciting projects were demonstrated, and judges chose the top 6 teams who qualified to round 2.

3 out of 6 of the teams were from BAU as follow:
E-Steps: Mohammad Issa and Ibrahim El Sayed, Ahmad Shahin, Ouday Khaled
Let's Volunteer: Ali Basheer, Dana Sobh, Ahmad R. Hasan
Key Stroke Dynamics: Moalla Ilani from BAU with Mostafa Dafer, Ramzi Khayat, Ghina Baassiri from RHU

And now it’s time for the results. All on Tuesday 23rd of April 2013 starting at 5:00 PM to Microsoft Lebanon’s offices 7th floor, as we will be announcing the top 3 teams and the national winner under the patronage of Nicolas Sehnaoui, Minister of Telecommunications.
