Dear students,
I know ur mission is not yet completed but u should do ur best to pass. To do that tomorrow focus on these points:
1. Don't forget the sentence " atoms are neutral".
2. Study the differences between ionic and covalent bonds as i mentioned to u in the class.
3. Use o.n. in case the reaction is provided to solve the exercise.
4. Focus on the given, a lot of data will be inside it.
5. In case of label the galvanic cell be careful to each compartment and use the provided labels.
6. In case of electrolysis its non spontaneous reaction and need electric energy to start.
7. In organic reactions try to differentiate between addition and substitution reactions.
8. Focus on ester:
" alcohol R'-OH + Carboxylic acid RCOO-H --> ester RCOO-R' + water H2O"
9. Unsaturated hydrocarbons (alkenes and alkynes) changes bromine solution Br2 from orange to colorless because of addition reaction "bromination".
10. Polymers are important.
11. Cracking gives smaller hydrocarbons, alkanes and alkenes. And don't forget the law of conservation of matter during chemical reaction. Its important ok?
12. In case of graphs be careful how to read it.
13. Finally isotopes and the relative abundance of isotopes, ex. Cl-35 is found in 75% and Cl-37 is found in 25%. And to find the average molar mass use: (75x35 + 25x37)/100 = 35.5 g/mol.
Good luck all
I love u my students...
