Since he launched his fashion house, he has successfully attracted discerning clientele who value unique designs and materials. Born in Lebanon, Ziad Nakad has had a passion for fashion since he was a child. He loved to sketch and to put together striking yet flattering outfits for his family. He knew this was his calling in life and in 1997 he transformed his dream into a career by launching his first fashion show. That show, and every subsequent show, has seen top international models showcase his designs on the catwalk. 2001 marked another milestone in Ziad Nakad's career with his debut on the international fashion scene and participation in prominent shows in Milano and Cannes. Today Ziad Nakad is a recognized name in Lebanon, the MENA region and the world. Keen to reach out to women who like clothes with dramatic flair and timeless femininity, Ziad Nakad has several lines that meet different needs: bridal, couture, prêt-a-porter, accessories, and ZN (a prêt-a-porter line especially for the more budget-conscious).
