At D4C, impact begins with preparedness, empathy, and people-centered action.
Through our Humanitarian Response efforts, we trained 80 volunteers, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to respond with dignity and care.
This is impact built on capacity, solidarity, and empowering change-makers on the ground.
Education is more than learning, it’s safety, hope, and a future in motion.
On this International Day of Education, we celebrate learning that goes beyond walls and into communities, homes, and lives that deserve opportunity.

Lebanese Red Cross
At D4C, we believe design is a powerful tool for strengthening humanitarian action. In Karantina, Beirut, this project reimagines a severely deteriorated building into a civic facility for the Lebanese Red Cross Disaster Risk Reduction and Beirut Disaster Management teams.
Through spatial reorganization, clear circulation, and climate-responsive design strategies, the project creates a functional environment that supports training, coordination, and daily operations. Layered privacy, shaded façades, deep-set windows, and expressive red frames enhance comfort, identity, and passive cooling within a dense urban context.
More than adaptive reuse, this initiative transforms neglect into resilience, creating a human-centered framework that enables collaboration, preparedness, and effective response when communities need it most.

In 2025, we didn’t just activate spaces, we activated communities.
Working hand in hand with local actors and volunteers, we transformed spaces into learning hubs, supported families in need, and built the tools that enable change.
Because real impact is always created with people, together. 💛

In 2025, we didn’t just design spaces, we designed with communities.
Together with partners, students, and local actors, D4C transformed places of learning, shelter, culture, and care, always putting people first.
Here’s a glimpse of the impact we built together.💛
Designing real-life needs challenged everything Marie thought she knew about architecture.
Through D4C, participants didn’t just sharpen their design skills; they redefined them.
Working on real community challenges pushed them beyond blueprints, into the heart of problem-solving, communication, and human-centered design.
Because when you design with people, not just for them, the impact goes far beyond the project.
