Nusaned
Nusaned is a humanitarian, community-based and volunteer organization. We believe that the power to create change comes from working collaboratively.
At Nusaned, emergency response goes beyond numbers.
Behind every figure is a coordinated effort grounded in dignity, accountability, and meaningful impact for communities affected by the escalation.
Through our partnership with CARE International in Lebanon, Nusaned continues to deliver integrated humanitarian assistance to internally displaced populations across Lebanon. This includes distributing hygiene kits and providing daily meals in collective shelters, even amid ongoing security challenges. Close coordination ensures our response remains timely and aligned with evolving needs.
In the 2024 escalation, we reached 116912 beneficiaries, and in the 2026 escalation, we have reached 3460 beneficiaries to date. Our work is guided by principled, non-discriminatory action, ensuring equitable access for all, while mainstreaming PSEA, child protection, and accountability at every step.
In partnership with War Child, Nusaned’s team provided over 8,000 hot meals across 7 collective shelters in Beirut for 10 days.
As needs continued to rise, the response expanded through the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA), enabling the distribution of 123,000 meals and 452 hygiene kits across Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and Akkar.
Together, we’re delivering timely, coordinated support to communities who need it most.
Delivering impact at scale while upholding quality, accountability, and dignity.
Nusaned’s emergency response is driven by preparedness, strong coordination, and real-time data, ensuring assistance reaches those most in need, quickly and effectively. Every intervention is needs-based, aligned with national priorities, and implemented with the highest standards of professionalism and accountability to affected populations.
Behind every figure is a system working to deliver assistance responsibly and with purpose.
Since 2020, Nusaned, in partnership with CARE International in Lebanon, has implemented over 15 projects across Lebanon to support a coordinated and timely humanitarian response. Efforts have focused on adapting to evolving needs and strengthening the ability to respond to repeated crises affecting displaced populations.
Amid ongoing emergencies and critical funding gaps, CARE International in Lebanon plays an important role in bridging response periods and enabling immediate, dignified assistance. In the 2024 escalation, 116912 beneficiaries were reached, and in the 2026 escalation, 3460 beneficiaries have been reached to date. As displacement accelerates, needs continue to outpace available resources, underscoring the urgency of sustained and flexible funding to reach the most vulnerable.
Trust starts with quality.
At Nusaned, every partner kitchen goes through a rigorous selection process, from safety checks to capacity assessments, before serving our communities.
Aligned with CHS and ISO standards, we ensure every meal is prepared, delivered, and monitored with care.
Because food assistance isn’t just about meals, it’s about safety, responsibility, and dignity.

They remember home, the streets, the rivers, and moments they carry by heart.
One remembers the river where he was born and raised, the heart of his hometown. Another finds moments of comfort and hope in the shelter, even as she carries the ache of the life she left behind and slowly learns to accept the reality.
Displacement wasn’t a choice for them, yet it has brought families from different areas together, creating new bonds and a sense of community. Strangers have become neighbors, and neighbors have become brothers and sisters.
At Nusaned, we stand with them every step of the way, delivering essential humanitarian support, upholding dignity, and helping families navigate the challenges of displacement while building resilience together.
