As countries have less money to spend on helping people, it gets tougher to reach goals like reducing poverty and improving healthcare.

3 types of innovation are extremely needed:
- Financial innovation = using money to attract MORE money
Charities can't solve everything alone. They need to invest in ways that encourage businesses and other investors to also put money into helping communities.
- Ecosystem innovation = building the whole support system.
It's not enough to just create one good product. You need factories, delivery trucks, training programs, and everything else required to actually get help to people who need it.
- Social innovation = making sure everyone benefits
When programs succeed, the workers and community members should share in that success—not just the organizations running the programs.
