🔸Olive oil is one of the healthiest oils because of its heart-healthy fats, making it one of the most popular choices when it comes to cooking or dressing up meals.
⚠️But we can easily over consume it!
1 Tablespoon of olive oil = 120 cal
🔸Oilves have fewer calories, plus fiber, but they are high in sodium.
8-10 olives = 45 cal
Both can be consumed when it comes to fat loss.🥳
Just pay attention to the quantity you add❗

We all get "stuck" from time to time when trying to lose weight and this can be very discouraging especially when you feel like your doing everything right.😔
So doing everything right & not losing weight? 🤔
There is a process during your weight loss journey.
When you start eating in a calories deficit, meaning you're now providing less nutrients to your body for it to use its internal stores of energy, your fat cells start releasing fat for the "missing" energy not coming from your diet.
However, because these fat cells can be very stubborn they get refilled with water until they "think" more fat is coming.💦 Once the cells realize there’s no fat coming, they eventually release the water and reduce in size.😨
This means your weight could fluctuate alot and even go higher, so as frustrating as it is don't get disheartened, as this is just the way it is.📈
Trust the process & give your body the time it needs to adapt to all these new lifestyle changes. ⏳
As always consistency is key! 💫

A food scale, measuring cups, and measuring spoons provide the most accurate way to keep track of how much food you eat, but they’re not always practical.
The hand method gives you an easy way to judge a reasonable serving. 🤝

🥔White Potato Vs Sweet Potato 🍠
I've realized so many people put potato in the same category as refined carbohydrates because it is white.
Potato is a starchy vegetable whether it is white or sweet.
From a macronutrient perspective, as you can see 👆 they are similar.
From a micronutrient perspective 👆 they are slightly different.
And most of all, you can eat both! 😋
