🌟 Our Next Science Evening! 🌟
📅 Date: 06.11
🕖 Time: 17:00-18:00
📍 Location: 7.e329
Our next guest is Prof. Adilbek Kairzhan who prepared a lecture on a topic of water waves! The mathematical study of water waves goes back to the eighteenth century when Leonhard Euler established the first mathematical model describing the motion of the water. This model is nonlinear and remains challenging both analytically and computationally. The Euler equations are equivalent to famous (unsolved!) Navier-Stokes equations for the fluid.
He will give an introduction to mathematical theory of water waves and will discuss current trends of research in this field.
Whether you’re a math enthusiast or just curious about the wonders of science, this evening promises to inspire and educate.
