After 17 years behind bars, Marius Mason has been released from prison and is on his way to a halfway house!

Marius is an anarchist and defender of animal rights and the environment who was harshly punished for property damage actions linked to environmental protest.

No one was harmed, yet he received a harsh 22 year sentence. His imprisonment became a focal point for political repression against animal and earth defenders during the Green Scare.

In 2014, Marius came out as a trans man while in prison and has been a voice for trans rights.

Marius still needs support during this transition.
