Today we had our end of year Fun Day that’s exactly what it was- a FUN day! Many thanks to our House Captains for planning and leading a great end of year celebration for our school community 🎉

It may be the end of term next week but things are not slowing down! Our Island Primary community were up bright and early this morning for our inaugural Fun Run! Congrats to everyone who took part in our 3K and 5K routes and thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors. What a great way to start the day! 🌅

Congratulations to our Year 6. We enjoyed celebrating you and your Island Primary learning journey this morning with our school community and families!

Outstanding performance in the cricket final from these girls. They scored 92 runs in 8 overs, their best this season. A well deserved end to an excellent season. Well done girls 🙌 back to back champions 🏆

Last Friday we had our final music assembly of this academic year; a true celebration of our wonderful and ever growing music programme. We were treated to performances from our steel pans, strings, ukes, t***s and infant and junior choirs 🎶

Island Primary was delighted to welcome Ben Maxwell from Gold FM and Teri Lynn from Z99 to speak with our students about the power of communication as part of our school-wide Integrated Learning Unit. Through engaging stories and real-world experiences from radio broadcasting, they highlighted the importance of listening, speaking with confidence, and connecting with others. Thank you, Ben and Teri, for inspiring our learners and bringing communication to life!
