Congratulations to Glenda McTaggart, Dart senior manager education progammes, on being awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) "for services to education in the Cayman Islands."
We're immensely proud to congratulate Glenda on this recognition. Through her passionate work on the Dart Minds Inspired programme - which promotes STEM education, Dart Scholar - our high school and university scholarships, and our Work-X summer internships, Glenda empowers the youth of our community to reach their full potential. And her energy, passion and genuine care extend beyond her role at work, leaving meaningful impact on our community through her volunteer work.
At Dart, we aim to create places where people can live their best lives, and we know that achieving this requires bringing the right people and the best experts together. Glenda is a shining example of this commitment.
Please join us in celebrating Glenda for her outstanding contributions to education in the Cayman Islands.

An evening brought together by community—for community, culture and conservation.
Dart is proud to have been a platinum sponsor of the National Trust’s Silver Thatch: Tapestry of Nature and Heritage fundraiser - an inspiring evening which saw our community come together with a shared commitment to preserving the places and stories that make Cayman so special.
The evening was a wonderful success, raising over CI$60,000 to support the National Trust’s work.
As a long-term partner of the National Trust, Dart is proud to support initiatives that protect Cayman’s natural and cultural heritage. Events like Silver Thatch are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community unites around a shared purpose.
The contributions in support, in spirit and in kind, helps ensure these treasured sites are protected for generations to come.

The Cayman Islands National Robotics Team (CINRT) is heading to the global stage once again! Nine brilliant students from public and private schools will represent the Cayman Islands at the 2026 FIRST Global Challenge in Icheon, South Korea, from 7 to 10 October.
The Olympics-style robotics competition brings together young innovators from around the world. This year's theme, 'Igniting Innovation', tasks teams with designing robots to combat the impact of wildfires and support environmental resilience.
In an exciting development, the Cayman team is also tackling local challenges through the New Technology Experience. Led by student Daniel Branis, the team is developing a technology-driven prototype to improve fire detection and response at the George Town Landfill. Following their record-breaking 34th-place finish last year, Cayman is well-positioned for another fantastic performance under the guidance of their dedicated mentors and the support of local sponsors.

Showing up for seniors in our community. 🧡
This past weekend, members of the Dart team joined Meals on Wheels (MOW) for their annual Orange You Glad Gala, themed Out of Africa, at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort.
MOW's work extends far beyond a single meal. By providing free, hot and nutritious food to seniors across the Cayman Islands, they help support independence and a sense of self-worth, while also creating regular opportunities for connection and reduce feelings of isolation.
As a community partner of MOW, Dart looks forward to supporting their growing impact, including their new 2,000 square foot centre, currently under construction. The space will feature a dedicated kitchen and pantry, vegetable garden and shared dining space, creating more opportunities for seniors to gather, share meals and feel part of a supportive community.
Dart is proud to stand alongside an organisation that values human connection, enhances daily well-being and strengthens the quality of life across our community, one meal at a time.
