Meeting with the CEO of the CITYNET

On January 15 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea Salohiddin Kirom met with the CEO of the CITYNET Chang Jae-bok.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the establishment of cooperation between this network of cities in the Asia-Pacific region and the cities of Tajikistan.

Quick update from CityNet Secretariat December Mission in Manila. ✨️Mayor Joy of Quezon City Government✨️ warmly welcomed CityNet team, led by CEO Jaebok Chang, at the Quezon City Hall. Mayor Joy shared Quezon's priority areas to work collaboratively with CityNet.

Founded in 1987 with the support of UNESCAP, UN-Habitat, and UNDP, CityNet is the largest network of urban stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region, helping cities become more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive.

Today, CityNet brings together over 150 cities, NGOs, research institutes, and international organizations to share knowledge, exchange solutions, and collaborate on key urban challenges such as climate action, mobility, waste management, and social inclusion.

Based in Seoul, we continue to help cities learn, innovate, and grow — shaping a better urban future, together.
