អ្នកនាំពាក្យក្រសួងការពារជាតិ សម្តែងនូវការខកចិត្តយ៉ាងខ្លាំង និងសូមបដិសេធចំពោះព័ត៌មានដែលបានផ្សព្វផ្សាយតាមបណ្តាញសង្គម និងសារព័ត៌មានរបស់ថៃជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ ដែលថា «កម្ពុជាស្នើឱ្យបើកច្រកដឹកជញ្ជូនទំនិញសង្គ្រោះបន្ទាន់» ដោយនេះជាព័ត៌មានក្លែងក្លាយ និងផ្ទុយពីការពិតក្នុងចេតនា ដើម្បីបង្កការបំភ័ន្តសាធារណមតិជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ។

គួរបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា ថៃបានបិទច្រកព្រំដែនដោយឯកតោភាគី ដូច្នេះប្រសិនបើចង់បើកឡើងវិញ វាក៏ជាការទទួលខុសត្រូវរបស់ថៃក្នុងការបើកឡើងវិញជាឯកតោភាគីផងដែរ ហើយកម្ពុជាតែងតែបានត្រៀមខ្លួនរួចជាស្រេច ដើម្បីឆ្លើយតបដោយសមស្រប និងត្រឹមត្រូវ។

Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, would like to inform the public, as well as national and international media, that:

The spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defence expresses strong disappointment and firmly rejects the information repeatedly posted on social media and Thai media outlets claiming that “Cambodia has requested the opening of the border for emergency goods.” This information is false and contrary to the facts, and appears to be intentionally spread to mislead both national and international public opinion.

It is worth noting that since Thailand closed the border crossing unilaterally, the responsibility for reopening it also lies with them. Cambodia remains ready to respond appropriately and accordingly.

In this sense, the public is urged to remain vigilant and avoid being misled by such false and misleading information by carefully verifying sources.

The public, as well as national and international journalists, are hereby informed of the facts regarding this matter.
