As families flee the uncertainty of the border conflict, many carry more than what they can hold. They carry loyalty, fear, and responsibility for the animals that depend on them. Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society (PPAWS) is stepping in to make sure those bonds are not broken by displacement, calling urgently for food and donations to protect animals sheltering alongside evacuated communities.
