As the ASK Sholw wraps up the curtains Three Rivers Academy Scouts and Band Brigade was previllaged and proudly mounted a Guard of Honour parade for the Principal Secretary of the National Government during the ASK Show, Mount Kenya Branch, held in Nanyuki on 22nd May 2026.
The brigade was led by Imani Mbugua (Year 10) and Shebah Sigh (Year 12) for the Scouts, alongside Jeremy Kanyago (Year 12) and Victor Shikalo (Year 10) who led the Band Brigade. The students demonstrated exceptional discipline, teamwork, and professionalism, representing the school with great pride and excellence.

The Three Rivers Scouts, led by their Assistant Patrol Leader, Imani Mbugua, proudly installed the school Principal as their patron during a colourful ceremony held at the school. Following the installation, the newly appointed patron inspected the scouts’ guard of honour parade, commending the scouts for their discipline, teamwork, and commitment to scouting values.
The Three Rivers Chipukizi and Mwamba Scouts team, led by their leader Imani Mbugua, together with the band team led by Jeremy Kanyago, participated in the Kenya Red Cross Society Charity Walk held on 16/05/26. During the event, the team proudly mounted a guard of honour parade which was inspected by the chief guest, Laikipia County Secretary Mr. Koinange Wahome.

Three Rivers Academy Excels at the World Scholar’s Challenge
On 8th and 9th April, our students proudly represented Three Rivers Academy at the World Scholar’s Challenge Regional Round held at Greensteds International School.
We are delighted to share that they returned with an impressive 92 medals and a trophy, making this a truly proud moment for our school community.
The students showed great confidence, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition, and their hard work was clearly reflected in their performance. We commend them for the way they carried themselves and for representing the school so well.
This achievement is a result of the commitment of our learners, the guidance of our teachers, and the continued support from parents.
We now look forward to the next stage of the competition — the Global Round in Shanghai, which will take place between 3rd and 12th August.
We wish our students all the best as they prepare for this exciting international experience.
