Good posture isn’t just about sitting up straight—it’s the foundation for a child’s ability to play, learn, and connect

APT equipment supports the development of essential skills like language, social interaction, and independence, giving children more opportunities to learn through everyday experiences.

We’re incredibly thankful for our partnership with PEFA Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre which continues to strengthen and is built on a shared mission to serve and support children with disabilities.
Over the last 2 weeks it has been a pleasure to host their team and share valuable APT skills with them that will now be put into action in a meaningful way.
We’re especially excited to see the creation of a new APT workshop that will provide vital postural support equipment for children with disabilities—helping improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Congratulations MRC Team!

We continue expanding APT across Kenya.
Today, we kicked off a 10-day APT fabrication training course, equipping other organisations with the skills to build APT devices and reach even more communities.
Together, this means more children will benefit from life-changing APT equipment.

Every device is made for the unique needs of the child.

Instead of waiting for expensive, hard-to-source pediatric wheelchairs, we can adapt what’s already available—quickly, affordably, and effectively.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the APT team!
15 standing frames, 8 chairs with floor wedges, and 8 therapy wedges made.
As soon as they are painted, they will be on their way to our partners at Dreamland Mission Hospital, Kimilili.
