How to drift a car without tipping over.

1. Initiation
"The faster you travel into the corner the sooner you need to initiate. Tend to use the power over weight transfer method (when you use the cars power to skid the rear end the wrong way and use the cars weight to flick the car back in the opposite direction)."

2. Control
"When in a drift it’s very important to maintain the drift with steering input and throttle control."

3. Handbrake
"The handbrake can be used to slow the car into a corner or when in battle to avoid contact. Remember, sharp pulls on and off."

4. Left-foot braking
"Left-foot braking whilst still on power uses the brakes to slow the car maintaining drift and is used to adjust line, and slowing the car in a corner or while chasing someone down."

5. Steering
"One thing to always remember is to let go of the wheel! A well set-up drift car should counter steer itself in a transition; all the driver has to do is catch it in the right spot."
