For Maasai women, beadwork is more than adornment—it’s a language that tells a story of identity, culture, and community. Passed from mother to daughter, it preserves tradition while creating opportunity.

In 2018, I connected with Maasai women in Kenya… and we built something meaningful together. ❤️

What started with no bookings has now become one of the most popular cultural tours on Airbnb.

What I observed…

The women of the Maasai don’t have to say much.

You see it in how they sit together.

I watched them… not trying to define anything, just present in the moment.
There’s a quiet strength there.

And it reminded me—connection isn’t always spoken… sometimes, it’s simply felt.
