Mathare Ministry

A beautiful week with so much to be thankful for. We are grateful that the Lord is using this ministry for our sanctification. How we also continue to pray that the gospel of our Lord will continue to be shared to old and the young in our community.

Thankful for everyone that keeps on sending prayers, and reaching out in so many ways to keep this ministry going. God bless.

We cannot be thankful enough for the goodness of God in our midst. Special thanks having our partners ICF church Roslyn for always standing with our precious community by caring for those who lost so much during the flood with food and so much clothing, God bless you all dearly. We can't wait to take this to families. Wonderful time with children is never forgotten, we love these dear ones so much, and we continue to pray that they will always stay rooted in Christ our Lord.

Great reminder that God is still reaching out to the old and young in Mathare community. We are thankful that men, women, young adults, and kids are able to hear the gospel.

We can't thank you all enough for prayers and thoughts you have always shown to this ministry. God bless you all. Keep on sending those prayers, God is still on the move.

Today we gathered to hear the truth that encouraged our hearts to remain rooted and established in Christ. God is good, and His mercies are new every day.
Also good seeing the young, and old in the evening listening to the word.

Thank you all for always reaching out, and believing with families in Mathare, we are thankful.

It is a wonderful thing to be reminded about the beautiful message of the gospel. What a savior who humiliated Himself by being humble and going all the way to the cross. He is good.

We love having Vikundi time (group discussions) where people share what they have been learning from the letter of James.

We thank each one of you for always thinking of us, and sending those prayers our way, may God bless each one of you.

Thank you Pastor Stanslus for reminding us about the works of the tongues, (James 3). Indeed we have to check what's inside of us. We should use our tongue to glorify God and speaking kindly.

A very busy week that has been full of God's mercy in His continued support to His people even in the midst of chaos when close to 60+ people loosing their lives. We thank God indeed for some wonderful people that have been of great encouragement by giving. The team today served 100+ people, and we believe that is because of your generous, thoughtful prayers and giving.

More to be done for other affected people who didn't receive the support, we keep on trusting the Lord with them, and also pointing people to the bread of life who is able to sustain and keep their faith.

Rain is always considered as a blessing, but also on the other side, so many vulnerable people who live in informal settlements always face the most difficult times. Little that they have is always swept away. The flood claimed close to 40+ lives in Nairobi, and some families are still looking for some family members who might have been claimed by the many waters.

Mathare ministry is located at the heart of Mathare and it has always reach people with the gospel, and this is what we continue to do, also there is a part of practicality, and it is by people like you who have been in deep prayers for the people here. We shall appreciate your prayers for the families. If you would like to do something, please reach out to Bronwyn Stamps or Victero Owino on how to go about this. Keep sending those prayers friends. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, (Ps. 34:18).

Wonderful time of being outside to share that which matters the most. Most of the time the people have been the one ministering to our hearts. God is soo good.
